APRIL FOOL'S DAY PRANKS AND PRACTICAL JOKES

PICKLED HEAD

Print out a life-size colour photo of a face, or a scary creature.

Find a large glass jar. Cut the photo so it fits inside the jar

(facing outward with the front of the photo pressed against the glass).

Then add some water (if you want, laminate the photo first, or

spray with waterproofing spray). Place the jar in the refrigerator.

Now... just wait until your victim opens the fridge for a snack

then be ready to shout "April Fool's!"

BOUND GAG

For this joke, you'll need tons of rubber bands.

Put about a hundred of them around your victim's mobile

phone or desk phone. Then call them!

TOILET SURPRISE

Print out a life-size face (this can be anyone-someone in your family,

a monster, a celebrity, your victim, or even yourself). Attach it to

the underside of the toilet seat facing up. Now close the lid to the toilet.

When your victim lifts the lid, they will get a scare!

DONUT DON'TS

Make the perfect morning snack for April 1st!

Buy some plain donuts. Then coat them in baking powder.

Leave them out for your victim.

They will look just like powdered-sugar donuts, but taste terrible!

PEEPERS CREEPERS

Print out a life-sized photo of a scary face.

Go outside and attach it to a window or skylight

(this will work best at night). Now just wait for

the frightened reaction of your victim!

OFFICE PRANKS

TRAP DRAWER

Rig a party popper to detonate when your victim opens their

desk drawer. Use strong tape to attach the party popper to the

inside of the desk, right above the top drawer. Close the drawer

almost completely, then tape the string of the popper to the inside

front of the drawer (if necessary lengthen the string slightly with

another piece of string). Be sure to angle the popper so

it will not explode in your victim's face.

TERRIBLE TYPO

This one takes a small investment, but it's worth it.

Borrow one of your victim's business cards and have it

duplicated, but change one small thing--the spelling of their last name,

or their job title, for instance. Sneak in and replace your victim's

cards with the new ones. When the time is right, casually

'notice' the mistake. Your victim will freak out thinking they've been

handing out business cards with a typo on them!

(Can also be done with their important projects

that they've already turned in, etc.)

COMPUTER PRANKS

CRAZY CURSOR

Plug a wireless mouse into your victim's computer.

Go to a nearby location and wiggle the mouse around.

They will wonder why their computer is freaking out.

VIRTUAL POST-ITS

Have you ever seen the prank where you put hundreds

of post-its all over someone's office? Well, you can

pull a mini version of this by putting virtual post its all over someone's

computer desktop! To create post-its in Windows 7, click Start ->

All Programs -> Accessories -> Sticky Notes.

CLASSIC PRANKS

DRIPPY

Use a pin to make a few small holes in a plastic disposable cup.

The holes should be near the top, just below the rim.

Offer a drink to the victim and watch while the liquid dribbles

out onto their shirt when they take a drink.

DOOR AMBUSH

This is the most classic and simple prank ever.

Balance a small disposable cup of water on the top of a

partially open door. Then wait for the splash!
