DONT DO THESE ON YOUR FIRST DATE
Added on: 4th May 2015
DO NOT TALK ENDLESSLY ABOUT YOUR KIDS
If you are a widower, going on a date is not a bad thing
(it’s actually quite healthy). And it’s not a bad thing that you have kids,
just don’t let them be the main subject of your conversations.
DO NOT FORGET TO MENTION THAT YOU HAVE KIDS
On the other hand, failing to mention that you do have kids
can seem a bit dubious and dishonest. Your date deserves to know what
he/she is getting into if they decide to pursue a relationship.
DO NOT TALK ABOUT SEX
This should be obvious advice but don’t talk about sex on the first date
(unless that’s what you are solely looking for). If you are looking
for a long lasting relationship, you have to start building it on a
solid foundation and sex is not that foundation.
DO NOT TALK ABOUT YOUR PROBLEMS
Moaning about things while on a date can be very annoying for the
person you are with. Dating is supposed to be fun; it is supposed to be
a venue for two people to get to know each other.
DO NOT BE LATE
What’s more valuable than money? Time. Therefore you should treat
someone else’s time with the utmost respect. Being late to your
first date (or anything else for that matter) is a blatant disrespect.
If you are running late, call and inform them of the situation
(preferably before you’re supposed to be there).
DO NOT CANCEL AT THE LAST MINUTE
Again, time is valuable. If your date is already set, do not cancel it at the
last minute (that is if you want to continue seeing this person).
They have already scheduled you into their time and you need
to respect that.
DO NOT GO OUT WITH DIRTY CLOTHES
No matter how bad your day may be, never go on a date with dirty or
lousy clothes on. Food stains on clothes? Not attractive.
Wrinkled shirt? Still not attractive.
DO NOT FORGET TO MAKE SURE YOUR
DATE GETS HOME SAFE
Guys, be gentleman enough to drive your date safely home.
If you do not have a car, at least get her a cab with a nice
driver to ensure that she is in good hands.
