Added on: 2nd Jun 2015
AL HAJJARA (YEMEN)
Fortunately for visitors, this mountain town is not only one of the
most stunning, but also one of the most accessible in Yemen.
SANTORINI (GREECE)
This Greek island has numerous cliffs, especially around its capital,
Fira.
MESA VERDE (USA)
Found in Colorado, these ancient cliffs are home to dwellings
that were cut out by the Anasazi people.
GREAT TRANGO TOWER (PAKISTAN)
This amazing piece of geography features what is possibly the
highest vertical drop on the planet at over 20,000 feet.
FLAMING CLIFFS (MONGOLIA)
While these cliffs are a sight to behold they are also in one of the
most remote places on Earth. So good luck getting there.
BONIFACIO (FRANCE)
To see the waves crashing below this beautiful coastal village is
a bit surreal.
ACANTILADOS DE LOS GIGANTES (SPAIN)
In Spanish their name translates to “Cliffs of the Giants” and one
look should be enough to tell you why!
HALF DOME (USA)
Possibly one of the most recognizable rock formations on Earth,
Half Dome is found in California’s Yosemite National Park.
