Added on: 9th Nov 2014
PUT IT OUT FOR THE SQUIRRELS TO EAT
THROW THEM IN THE SKIP
HAVE A PUMPKIN THROWING COMPETITION
COMPOST YOUR PUMPKINS
TURN IT INTO A BIRD FEEDER
CUT IT INTO PIECES FOR ANIMALS
Many garden animals will eat pieces of pumpkin flesh.
LEAVE SEEDS FOR WILDLIFE
Large birds and small mammals will eat pumpkin seeds if
you leave them on your garden. Collect the seeds from
your pumpkins and let the seeds dry. Please don’t add salt or
seasoning. Place seeds on a flat surface, tray, shallow bowl,
or mix in with existing bird seed in your garden.
PLANT PUMPKIN SEEDS
If you have room in your garden, you can save
the seeds for a harvest of pumpkins next year.
