The Banpo Bridge, 3740 feet long, is lined with 380 nozzles and it’s

Illuminated with, yes, a rainbow of colours by night, and using water
pumped from the Han River below, the fountain puts on several
20-minute shows daily.

One of the biggest fountains in the world, the Dubai Fountain is built on
the 30-acre manmade Burj Khalifa Lake. Lit up by 6,600 lights and 25
coloured projectors, it’s a jaw dropping experience. The fountain is 275m
(902ft) long and shoots water 240 feet into the air accompanied by a
range of classical to contemporary Arabic and world music. As the fountain
is such mammoth in size, the location offers fantastic 360-degree
viewing opportunities.

SINGAPORE
This fountain is 13.8 metres tall and is a circular ring made form bronze.
Water erupts up to 30 metres and the fountain is turned off three times

stays on and walking around it or touching the water is believed to
bring you good luck.

EL ALAMEIN FOUNTAIN – SIDNEY, AUSTRALIA
The El Alamein Fountain is a fantastic fountain located in the
beautiful city of Sidney in Australia. It was designed by Robert Woodward.
It was the first "dandelion" fountain created between 1959 and 1961.

as a memorial to soldiers who died in 1942 during the Second World War
in two battles at El Alamein, Egypt.
BUCKINGHAM FOUNTAIN IN GRANT PARK, CHICAGO.
Buckingham Fountain is a Chicago landmark in the centre of Grant Park.
Dedicated in 1927, it is one of the largest fountains in the world.
Built in a rococo wedding cake style and inspired by the Latona Fountain
at the Palace of Versailles, it is meant to allegorically represent Lake Michigan.
It operates from April to October, with regular water shows and evening
colour-light shows. During the winter, the fountain is decorated
with festival lights.
MAGIC FOUNTAIN OF MONTJUIC, BARCELONA, SPAIN
A fountain located in the Montjuïc neighbourhood of Barcelona.
The fountain was constructed for the 1929 Barcelona International Exposition.
At that time it performed only light shows. In the 1980s, music was
incorporated with the light show and the fountain was completely restored
prior to the 1992 Summer Olympics, held at Montjuïc.
