4 Australian men sold themselves for a weekend promising
“beers, snacks, and good conversation” for $1,300 Australian dollars.
GOLF BALLS
These weren’t just any golf balls though. These four golf balls were
swallowed by a python and surgically removed! They sold for more
than $1,400 Australian dollars.
ICELAND
Another country put up for sale, this time it was because of the
2008 financial crisis.
A CHEATER'S SPORTS CAR
The wife of Tim Shaw (a British radio DJ) sold Tim’s Lotus Esprit
for 50 pence after hearing him flirting on air.

Mike Landa put a fighter jet up on eBay that he had acquired from the
scrap yard. The FBI, however, told him that he could only sell it to
an American citizen residing in the US and the plane couldn’t
leave US airspace.
UNWANTED BRUSSEL SPROUTS
Leigh Knight of the UK sold unwanted Brussel sprouts left over
from Christmas dinner for over $2,000.
A MIDDLE NAME
In 2005 entrepreneur Matt Rouse sold the right to choose a new middle
name for him. He received an $8,000 bid for “Buy It Now” but the
Utah courts refused to change it.
GHOST
In 2010 Michael Fawcett tried to sell a ghost but eBay took the
listing down after 6 days.
