HURRICANE MATTHEW
The level five hurricane hit Haiti, causing widespread

King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the world's longest-reigning
monarch, died aged 88, sparking national
mourning in Thailand.

CHED EVANS CLEARED
Footballer Ched Evans was found not guilty of raping
a 19-year-old woman in 2011. He was originally
convicted and jailed in 2012, but this was
quashed in April.

French authorities began an operation to relocate
