Please be aware that on Saturday 25th February at about 6am we will be undertaking a data centre relocation of our shared hosting server. If all goes smoothly, we are expecting this to take about 3-4 hours. If you pay annually instead of monthly for hosting then you will be most likely on this server.
During this time, our web, e-mail and DNS hosting services will be unavailable. Before this date, please check what type of hosting you have with us:
If your domain names are renewed by us then you will not need to do anything, please ignore the rest of the email. If your domains are renewed elsewhere then you need to check the following:
If your nameservers are ns1.gloversure-hosting.co.uk and ns2.gloversure-hosting.co.uk
You do not need to do anything since we will update your DNS records.
If your nameservers are not ns1.gloversure-hosting.co.uk and ns2.gloversure-hosting.co.uk and you have web hosting with us you will need to do the following:
Step 1) You need to lower the TTLs (time to live) of your A records to 300 (5 minutes) - This needs to be done at least 48 hours before the move.
Step 2) On the day you need to change your A records to 83.97.18.75 (ideally this is done whilst our services are down on the morning of Saturday 25th February at about 6am)
Step 3) After your website is available again, set the TTLs back to what they were previously - No rush for the step 3 as this can be done anytime after the move has happened.

You do not need to do anything since your MX record should be pointing to mail.gloversure-hosting.co.uk
If your MX record does not point to mail.gloversure-hosting.co.uk, please update this
